# Solutions

ALTCHA protects forms, logins, and APIs from bots and automated abuse without sacrificing your visitors' privacy, your accessibility obligations, or your user experience. There's no single "right" way to run it — the right solution depends on who you are, how much traffic you handle, and how much control you need over your own infrastructure.

## The building blocks

Every solution below is built from the same core pieces:

- **Open-Source Widget & Libraries** — Free, MIT-licensed, self-hosted, and framework-agnostic. The foundation everything else builds on.
- **WordPress Plugin** — No-code protection for WordPress and WooCommerce sites.
- **[ALTCHA Cloud](/docs/cloud/)** — A fully managed, EU-hosted version of ALTCHA's adaptive detection engine. No infrastructure to run.
- **[ALTCHA Sentinel](/docs/sentinel/)** — The same adaptive detection engine as Cloud, self-hosted on your own infrastructure, with SSO, clustering, and perpetual licensing.

## Find your solution

| Who you are | What usually matters most | Start here |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Individual or small site owner** — blog, portfolio, side project | Free, simple, no ongoing cost | **[Solutions for Individuals](/docs/solutions/individuals/)** |
| **Business** — e-commerce, SaaS, marketplace, agency | Stopping fraud and abuse without hurting conversion, minimal ops overhead | **[Solutions for Businesses](/docs/solutions/businesses/)** |
| **Enterprise** — larger organization with its own security and infra requirements | Data control, SSO/RBAC, high availability, SLA-backed support | **[Solutions for Enterprises](/docs/solutions/enterprises/)** |
| **Government or public sector** — agency serving citizens | Statutory compliance, mandatory accessibility, data sovereignty, platform ownership | **[Solutions for Governments](/docs/solutions/governments/)** |

## A quick rule of thumb

- **Want something free and self-hosted, with no ongoing cost?** Start with the [open-source widget](/docs/integration/quick-start/), or the [WordPress plugin](/docs/wordpress/) if that's your platform.
- **Want adaptive, enterprise-grade protection without running your own infrastructure?** Use **[ALTCHA Cloud](/docs/cloud/)**.
- **Need to keep everything — traffic, data, deployment — entirely on infrastructure you control**, for compliance, data residency, or internal policy reasons? Use **[ALTCHA Sentinel](/docs/sentinel/)**, self-hosted.
